there are tons of Dervish Bomb builds out there a lot of them use an Assassin secondary to shadow step into the middle of a mob hit Mystic Sandstorm drop the damage and conditions and shadow step out.
If you run a search of this section and you should be able to find about 3 or 4 at least. Sorry I can't be more help actually give you the build.

Yes you can in some areas. I did accidentally Jennur's Horde with such a build when I fooled around with my derv and a friend asked me to help him with masters. Key points of the build where vital Boon, Conviction ,Signet of Pious Light and Pious Renewal. 15 Mysticism, 13 Earth Prayers. The rest were damage and condition enchantments. To keep the armor bonus from conviction u need to recast an enchantment immediately f.e. pious renewal with 1/4 cast time.
Equipment was a totem axe and a focus with +30 ht.
The rest i don't remember right now but I'm pretty sure i was bumped up with atunement runes and radiant signets
Don't try it with a pub. You may get bashed for not being a tank.
Don't try it in areas with heavy disenchantment or interrupts.
It's fun but if you want to play serious take a conventional build.

You don't need factions at all, you only need dervish skills TBH.
You'll want 16 earth prayers, 13+ mysticism, and an insightful staff of enchanting with +15 energy/-1 regen mod.
Just run in, cast any 5 spells that cause damage/conditions when either cast or removed, cast vital boon/pious renewal and mystic sandstorm. Keep one space for a res.
Some ideas for damaging enchants:
aura of thorns
heart of holy flame
dust cloak
staggering force
mirage cloak
That's my bombing build, but grogxz said, for serious play take a conventional build. These ones don't kill things as such, just give them 5 conditions and alot of damagem which gives your team mates that do kill things a much easier time

Shadow Prison
Mystic Sandstorm
Aura of Thorns
Vital Boon
Staggering Force
Dust Cloak
Signet of Pious Light
Res Signet
Full radiant insignia, Totem axe, Shield/+15/-1 Energy offhand
RA: Cast enchants starting at second 7. Shadow prison your target, then quickly AoT, and re-start casting heavy damage enchants. If low on life, Vital Boon+Signet of Pious Light. If you're uncomfortable about being in the middle of your enemies from the get-go(even though you shouldn't, they're blinded and weakened), take out one of the damaging enchants for recall. This works better in PvE also, because the AI doesn't "get surprised".
Don't use Mirage Cloak. 15 energy is waaay too much for a bad Guardian.

Just for a laugh I'd been using this build:
[skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill][skill]Aura of Thorns[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Mirage Cloak[/skill][skill]Poisoned Heart[/skill][skill]Pious Renewal[/skill][skill]Mystic Twister[/skill][skill]Mystic Sandstorm[/skill]
I need a Staff with an insightful head and a 15/-1 inscription to pull it off but it's funny as hell!
just 2 or 3 attribute points in Curses causes poisoning for 6 or 7 seconds. You pretty much get all the energy back through Mysticism and Pious Renewal. It's the only use I've ever found for Pious Renewal. I woudn't recommend General PvE use but it's a laugh to try out...

This looks like a great build - I take it you have 16 into earth, 10 or so into mysticism? 2 into curses and the rest into wind prayers?

You understand Mystic Twister does 30 damage at zero wind prayers, right?
And what do you do, slowly walk up to the foes with no form of regeneration whatsoever, spamming mirage cloak(for a wooping 15 energy a pop)?
Also, if you're /A you gain the ability to pop out of nowhere and deliver you conditions. If you're /N, you gain...what, 5 seconds of poison? You know that the foe's already burning+bleeding for at least 3 seconds, so he's already capped at -10, right?

I've used a holy spike in AB that is nice but works better in a team of them:
[skill]Balthazar's Rage[/skill][skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill][skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill][skill]Staggering Force[/skill][skill]Expel Hexes[/skill][skill]Mystic Sandstorm[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Signet of Pious Light[/skill]
16 Mysticism
13 Earth Prayers
The first three skills do 189 armor ignoring damage to all adjacent foes (doubled for pesky minions since it's holy). The fourth skill does a little more damage to all adjacent foes.
Now, for Mystic Sandstorm. For each enchantment lost, all nearby foes are struck for 32 earth damage. This turns ino 128 earth damage (or 160 if you throw in Vital Boon). Now, this isn't armor ignoring so it'll be less than what it says depending on their resistance to it. As a bonus, all adjacent foes are also set on fire for 4 seconds and weakened.
Also, there's plenty of healing from the last two skills and Expel Hexes is great for AB. If you're in a team of these don't all bring it. Diversify.
You will need energy but I've only used 15/-1 in desperate times. Radiant insignias, staff, and some attunement runes are just fine. You'll want at least 45 energy.

Jesus, it says maximum 130 dmg right there on the skill.
Expel Hexes? jesus christ.
EDIT: Nvm, just saw mysticism 16. It was a joke post.

Yes, it does say 130 max damage, but, earth damage, which is what you're dealing with this skill, isn't armor ignoring and may still not get you the max possible, even at 160 earth damage.
Expel Hexes is a remnant from when I was trying out Arcane Echo and Echo to string along more holy damage. A lot of hexes fly around in AB (which is what I said the build was for) and has proven itself more than useful. Any other utility skill could be just as helpful depending on the situation.
I don't see why you're so excited over this.

For the record I did say I was using it *for a laugh*...I don't have the necessary skills unlocked on my Dervish for a D/A build. I don't understand where you got the 0 wind prayers from either. My attributes were something like 11 + 4 in Mysticism, the the rest split between earth and wind (with more in earth)... Yes I could have used Mystic Regen instead of Mirage cloak, but Mirage cloak deals damage when it ends and I was just messing about. I also have about 2 in curses or so which is about 6-7 seconds of poison.
And yes, for the record...I slowly walk up to the foe. That's what I did. And why? BECAUSE I CAN. I was using it in aspenwood and most people there seemed too slow to realise what I was doing and run away. My Build was created purely to appease my sense of fun....so I apologise.
For the record that build had emerged from a more sensible, toned down version which did in actual fact use a scythe rather than a random fire staff I happened to have, and was considerably more useful for general PvE.
